In the 18th century, the Carlowitz family had a landscape garden with paths, grottos, bridges and rest areas laid out in the idyllic grounds. Friends put up statues and inscriptions. But it was soon forgotten. Since 2007, the Röhrsdorf local history association has been rebuilding it. Even if there is hardly anything left of the original beauty of the park, a walk through the grounds is always worthwhile thanks to the quiet and idyllic paths.

Tickets for the boats and pedal boats are available from a machine; the staff present only helps with getting on and off. So have the right change ready.

Definitely have to come back in the summer. A round trip on the Amselsee is then a must!
