The walk around the pond is really worth it. Almost half of it is designated as a bathing lake. We had nice weather at the end of October, but it was too cold for swimming.

With a length of around 325 meters and a width of 200 meters, the Nonnenmattweiher is not particularly large, but it is really beautiful to look at. Here you can swim in peace and at the same time enjoy the Black Forest in all its glory, unfortunately it is quite crowded on the weekends, but during the week it is a little paradise.

A dolienensee that only appears when the groundwater level is high and then disappears again. There are rare crabs.

The glacier pot of the Krai-Woog-Gumpen and the waterfall below are a wonderful relic of the Ice Age. A popular place to swim in summer.

The Eichenersee is a natural spectacle as it only occasionally comes to the surface. Wonderful when it is so well filled and frozen over like this winter 2020/2021. An absolute destination!

Rare natural monument that only comes to light every few years in heavy rain and snowmelt.
