Beautiful pond in the Badenweiler spa park. Countless large fish swim in it.

The fish come as soon as someone is standing at the railing, but they quickly notice when no food is thrown into the water. But what you shouldn't do either. So get your camera ready before you stand on the railing.

The walk around the pond is really worth it. Almost half of it is designated as a bathing lake. We had nice weather at the end of October, but it was too cold for swimming.

With a length of around 325 meters and a width of 200 meters, the Nonnenmattweiher is not particularly large, but it is really beautiful to look at. Here you can swim in peace and at the same time enjoy the Black Forest in all its glory, unfortunately it is quite crowded on the weekends, but during the week it is a little paradise.
