An easy but very beautiful hiking trail. Bikes are expressly permitted (see signs at the trailhead).

This section of the Sihl River is truly breathtaking. Crystal-clear water flows gracefully around massive boulders that rise majestically from the riverbed. The sound of the water cascading over the stones adds a soothing rhythm to the natural symphony of the landscape.

Very nice walk, nice combination with an evening visit to Zurich. Route 689 is well indicated everywhere, also the last part is a very nice descent via the different steps and back roads, especially at sunset.

Recommended in both directions. Pleasantly cool in summer thanks to the Lorze and the shade of the trees. There are always beautiful, flat sections of the river, also for swimming.

The traces of storms from recent years and decades are clearly visible here. The Sihl does not always flow so peacefully...
