The Fischbachfall is an impressive waterfall near Ruhpolding or Heutal (Austrian side). It is embedded in beautiful nature and is not far from the Heutal ski area. I set off from the German side, Holzknechtmuseum Ruhpolding. The sight of this natural spectacle along the small stream is really superlative! 🌊💧 Caution ⚠ ! If someone wants to go down to the Fischbachfall, it is only recommended with safety in mind.. If you like hiking, there are also some beautiful hikes and circular trails in the area around the Fischbachfall. Perhaps you would like to plan your own tour and explore nature?

This section, which is absolutely worth seeing and which nature and the water have created here, is between the Fischbachfall and the Staubfall. There are several cascades where the water has also created transverse channels until the next crash. Simply indescribably beautiful :-)

The Fischbachfall is the first to come when you start from the Hotel Heutal. The fact that such a natural spectacle suddenly appears along the small stream is a superlative!!!

If you start early in the summer/during the holiday season (9 a.m. at the latest), you'll have the gorge to yourself! There are two places where you can get right to the water. But be careful: the stones can be very slippery. The path through the gorge is easy to manage - with good shoes and a certain amount of surefootedness. Because there are numerous horseflies in places, insect spray is a good idea!

Beautiful new trail through the Weißenbach Gorge! Very pleasant, especially in summer, because you are always out and about in the shade.😊

The renovated Weißbach Gorge in Schneizlreuth is definitely worth a visit. But you should be sure-footed and wear good shoes. It's good to have sticks with you. The rocks, roots and stones that you have to cross are sometimes very slippery. Please not with small children !!!
