The Reeck Canal is a wonderful experience by bike: Coming from Lake Müritz, the path leads along the shore to the bridge on Warener Straße, where a particularly beautiful view opens up. Here, the canal acts as a tranquil green corridor connecting the Binnenmüritz with Lake Kölpinsee. From the bridge railing, you can watch the boats glide through, while the expansive expanse of the lake looms beyond – an atmospheric moment on any bike tour around Waren.

An impressive propeller by Mecklenburger Metallguss GmbH (MMG), manufactured for a container ship with 2,400 berths. The propeller has a diameter of 7.1 meters, weighs 31,900 kilograms, and is made of aluminum bronze. It has five blades, achieves a rated power of 24,392 hp, and rotates at 97 revolutions per minute. MMG is a world-leading manufacturer of ship propellers and is headquartered in Waren. The propeller now serves as a technical display piece and is freely accessible in an open space on Röbeler Chaussee.

If you're lucky, the soft serve ice cream truck will be there. The plain vanilla soft serve is the best.
