The Reeck Canal is a wonderful experience by bike: Coming from Lake Müritz, the path leads along the shore to the bridge on Warener Straße, where a particularly beautiful view opens up. Here, the canal acts as a tranquil green corridor connecting the Binnenmüritz with Lake Kölpinsee. From the bridge railing, you can watch the boats glide through, while the expansive expanse of the lake looms beyond – an atmospheric moment on any bike tour around Waren.

The York-Blücher Memorial commemorates the historic encounter between British General Sir Charles Cornwallis Yorke and Prussian Field Marshal Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher during the Wars of Liberation against Napoleon. This memorial stands near Silz in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, an area closely linked to Blücher's history. The mill is a special example of the combination of wind and steam power: it not only served to mill grain but also housed a steam bakery, making it a progressive facility for its time. Since 1990, the building has been privately owned and has been carefully restored under listed building regulations. The mill is officially listed as a historical monument by the municipality of Silz and represents an impressive example of regional architecture and technological history of the 19th century. Due to its location in the cultural landscape of the Mecklenburg Lake District, it is not only a historical highlight but also a popular destination for cycling and hiking tours in the surrounding area.

An impressive propeller by Mecklenburger Metallguss GmbH (MMG), manufactured for a container ship with 2,400 berths. The propeller has a diameter of 7.1 meters, weighs 31,900 kilograms, and is made of aluminum bronze. It has five blades, achieves a rated power of 24,392 hp, and rotates at 97 revolutions per minute. MMG is a world-leading manufacturer of ship propellers and is headquartered in Waren. The propeller now serves as a technical display piece and is freely accessible in an open space on Röbeler Chaussee.
