There are plenty of benches, a kiosk, and a public restroom in the spa building. There's also a playground, a small visitor mine, and a water treading area with a special Harz Hiking Badge stamp. Cycling is prohibited in the spa park itself.

A little below the Berghof you can look eastwards as far as the Kyffhäuser, from the plateau behind the Berghof you can clearly see the Große Knolln to the west and Wurmberg and Brocken to the north. If you use the existing parking spaces as a starting point for excursions, the Philippsgruß-Hütte HWN 220, the Hassenstein-Hütte HWN 158 and also the Stöberhai HWN 159 or, via the Steina dam, the Hohe Tür watershed HWN 043 above the Wiesenbeker Teich are easily accessible from here.
