Located south of the city, Lake Sedan offers a range of sports and leisure activities that you should not miss. You can swim in the lake during the summer months, and you can use the fitness trail all year round. Small but nice, no entrance fee and free parking. The existing toilet is unfortunately locked. Drinks and snacks are available at the campsite reception.

Lac des Vieilles Forges is surrounded by forests and meadows. You can enjoy views of the water and wildlife while circling the lake. The lake is also part of a hydroelectric system that pumps water to and from two reservoirs to generate electricity.

The Bairon reservoir is an artificial lake of 120 hectares divided into two parts: one for water sports and leisure activities, the other for the observation and conservation of fauna and flora. You can follow the trails around the lake and enjoy the green landscape, the singing of birds and the peaceful atmosphere. You can even observe rare species of plants and animals in the old pond, now a nature reserve. It’s an ideal destination for a run.
