Pera Brissi has closed permanently and is looking for a new tenant

A beautiful mountain village. However, the ascent by bike is difficult.

There is now a construction site at waypoint 11, the path is basically closed. We didn't know this and didn't want to take a detour, so we climbed cross-country, but that was more risky than time-saving. Be careful and re-plan if necessary before you start!!

You can now even rent life jackets here! What a service! 😉

Vourliotes is the perfect hiking destination coming from the Nightingale Valley or Kokkari. Stop for a break in the tavern at the source, in Blue Chairs or at Akis, a few meters away from Blue Chairs, down the alley.

Anyone who goes here is looking for peace and enjoys the surroundings. Hiking shoes are not mandatory but useful depending on the season. Arrived at the waterfall there are possibilities to put the bag down. Here I recommend bathing shoes, swimwear or some fura water. You walk or swim a bit before you arrive at the waterfall. For those who don't feel like water, walk up the stairs, which is an experience in itself, turn right in front of the restaurant and you will arrive at the top of the waterfall. There with courageous steps you can also look down.

Crossing the Potami Gorge is a unique experience in Samos! Fantastic nature and a touch of adventure and action. Anyone who enjoys canyoning will get their money's worth here 👍

Don't forget good water shoes, nothing for slippers or bare feet. Very nice tour through the water over waterfalls and some swimming spots. You can store clothes at the top of the tavern (at the end of the steep stairs).
