These magnificent wooden structures in the middle of the Swedish countryside are always an eye-catcher.

Coming from the south, you have just completed a small, really steep climb. The view of Marsfjället is beautiful. Only the wind whistles a little cold here. The pass is also used by wild animals, which leave their droppings in large numbers.

Once you've left the forest and the first climb behind you, look forward to a short break here with a great view. You can stay overnight - or, like us, sit out a rain shower on the way back.

Perfect for an overnight stay. Water from the river. Beautiful view of the river. In the forest. A little difficult to access by bike as it is swampy.

Has some beautiful art. There are more shelters in this area.

The view from the top of Marsfjället is magnificent - and so is the way there. Don't forget warm and rainproof clothing! It can get uncomfortable up there.
