데켄프론‬에서 가장 멋진 ‪20‬개의 호수

The Kohlweiher pond, covering 3,200 square meters and fed by the Vorderbach stream, was created in 1975 to add a new appeal to the wooded landscape of the nature park and to invite hikers to a peaceful rest. The pond also serves as a water reserve for fighting forest fires and provides nesting and breeding grounds for waterfowl.

Many years ago, you could still swim in it. Today, it's only for anglers.

Maurener See nature reserve, which has been restored through extensive renaturation measures in recent years.

Large cemetery. Right at the entrance there is a book with the names and year and the plot. Right next to it is an information board showing the corresponding burying place

The newly designed Entseele with rotating information boards for participation brings fun and knowledge for the whole family. When crowned hunters, vampires of the water, or hunters between the worlds are introduced and explained.

We used to play and swim there when we were children. Today the lake is a nature reserve, is overgrown all around and only offers a view in a few places.

Nice little lake. For reasons of nature conservation, however, the lake has now been cordoned off all around except for one small area. At the inlet there are still the rare stone crabs. Right next door is the Mauren Church.
