At four meters high, the Janus Fountain in Bad Segeberg's pedestrian zone is a true heavyweight with a minimalist design. Sculptor Frauke Wehberg created it in 1993 for the local Volksbank, which was celebrating its anniversary. Inspired by the two-faced Roman god Janus, the fountain features not only two vertical columns but also two water basins facing in different directions.
