We spent two weeks at Europarc Beekbergen. We enjoyed hiking and cycling in the woods here. We also took the Veluwe steam train to Apeldoorn and back to Loenen. The equipment wasn't all that special: shorts and sneakers. It was perfectly manageable.

When crossing the Beekbergerweg we walk into the forest area of the Loenerveld at the edge of the village of Loenen.

The steam train rides on this train route are popular with tourists and that is why the Veluwsche Steam Train Company runs every Sunday from the beginning of April to the end of October. The VSM has 17 steam locomotives and 23 diesel locomotives with carriages.
