To reach Bocchetta di Luera, you can follow several well-marked trails. One of the most common routes starts from Valmadrera, passing through San Tomaso and continuing towards the Sorgente dell'Acqua del Fo. From here, the trail climbs through beech and chestnut forests, leading to the pass. Another option is to start from Canzo, passing through the towns of Prim'Alpe, Second'Alpe and Terz'Alpe, following the trail that leads to Colma di Val Ravella and then to Bocchetta di Luera.
From the pass, it is possible to quickly reach the summit of Corno Orientale, which offers a panoramic view of Lake Como, the Grigne and the surrounding mountains. The path to Corno Orientale is accessible and suitable for most hikers. For the more experienced, from Bocchetta di Luera you can take the path to Corno Centrale, which has more challenging sections and requires greater attention.
The area is characterized by a rich biodiversity, with a variety of flora and fauna typical of the pre-Alpine environment. The paths are immersed in lush nature, offering hikers a pleasant experience and suggestive views.
