An idyllic place to cool off and relax Health-conscious people don't want to miss the Brönna Kneipp facility in Gortipohl (near the sports field and tennis courts). It offers cooling and relaxation on hot summer days as well as after strenuous hikes. Very nice, albeit short trail hike along the ravine down to the Ill.

Strenuous path along the crossroads up to the Balbierfall, which turns right just before the waterfall and above the Mariengrotte

Past the benches there is a gate in the pasture fence, from which you come to a very idyllic path along a stream that later flows into the Ill.

A comfortable sun lounger invites you to linger. While you do this, you can listen to the rushing of the Ill. Our dogs were particularly happy about the small fountain that provides cooling on warm days.
