This morning the official opening was celebrated by Mayor Peter Horstmann. The project was financially supported significantly by the generous donation from the Warendorf Citizens' Foundation. With an amount of around 7,500 euros, the Citizens' Foundation made the realization of this new recreation area possible. This includes a lounge bench from the renowned company Forged Garden from Sassenberg as well as several benches that are placed on different levels and thus offer a variety of options for lingering at the Emssee.
