In summer as an oasis of calm with an impressive view, in winter the reservoir acts as a lifeblood for the snowmaking of the slopes. Incidentally, the shape of the pond clearly resembles a heart, which was not planned when it was built! Chance had a hand in it. The heart shape was only discovered through aerial photographs by tandem pilots.
