Unfortunately, it's currently covered in scaffolding and has a "No Entry" sign posted. So, I couldn't visit the chapel. But it was very beautiful from the outside, too.

The Saarburg ruins sit high atop the mountain. From its keep, you have a magnificent view of the city and the ships on the Saar River. A restaurant invites you to dine.

After the impressive waterfall, the Leuk River flows into the Saar at a sharp angle. This angle is accessible, and the swans also enjoy it here.

The Hackenberger Mill in Saarburg is a 13th-century mill museum that is open seasonally. The season begins April 13th and is open from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The entrance is located below the waterfall in Staden. The museum offers, among other things, a new listening tour and a detailed model of the mill.

Beautiful old castle. From the top of the castle tower, you have a great view of the city and surrounding area.

Did you know that Saarburg is also known as the "wine town"? No wonder, given that it is one of the top wine-growing regions on the Moselle.

For the brave among us, there is a Kneipp pool right next to the salt fountain where you can cool your legs.
