The castle of Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye now houses the Musée Du Grès. The museum features exhibitions of pottery, particularly pottery, and related items that made Saint-Amand famous.

The 2023 footbridge allows pedestrians and cyclists to pass through and a staircase leads down to the beach for swimming in the Loire.

At this bridge there are some works of art by Jean Carries, which gave this walk its name.

During the walk through the hamlet of "Les Mottes" we were approached by a man who offered us work on his land. Of course we politely declined this offer. After complimenting him on his house, which looked immaculate, he gave us instructions on how to continue our walking route. We thought this was a nice meeting.

A special discovery for us, to see a Beaver swimming in a lake and so close to civilization. Made the whole walk a success

During the walk we came across a cupboard. Wondering what the cupboard is for, I opened it. It turned out to be part of an old wooden weighbridge. The wood was completely rotten so it was probably protected so that no one would fall through.
