Nice climb in the Guadalupe area with beautiful views but very hard

The Mirador Pico Blanco in La Pesga, Extremadura, is a spectacular place to enjoy panoramic views. Located at the highest point in the area, it offers stunning views to the north of Las Hurdes and to the south of the Gabriel y Galán reservoir, the lands of Granadilla and the abandoned town of Granadilla.

At 1,487 metres above sea level, it is one of the highest peaks in the Sierra de Gata. The route to climb Pico Jálama is popular with hikers and offers spectacular views of the region. The route begins in the town of Acebo and passes by the Mirador de La Ventosa and Puerto de Perales.

It's a bit of a steep climb, but the view is so beautiful

My hiking suggestion in the Monfragüe National Park: I start at the village of Villarreal de San Carlos and take the main path to the mountain Cerro Gimio. Here I enjoy the breathtaking view. We then continue along the lower path back to the village. Gnarled holm oaks line the path and I always enjoy the wonderful hilly and strangely gnarled landscape. Alternatively, you can walk along one of the narrow paths along the river. Unfortunately, they were closed when I visited. Go up to the small chapel on the peak of Dios Padre at 950 meters above sea level. Take in the spectacular views of the surrounding landscape below.
