The church is one of the oldest in Suffolk. There's a small shop by the church, the honey is really good. Just put money in the box and take honey with you.

Shingle street is one of those weird places surrounded by myth. Worth googling the German invasion stories. Even without those stories and the pub getting blown up, it’s just an interesting place to see. The film “Yesterday” used the little house on the beach.

Good cafe round the back, plenty of outdoor seating and a great peanut butter blondie cake!

Nice place to stop for coffee, cake and a wander through the reeds.
