Rutherford's Monument stands tall between Anwoth and Gatehouse of Fleet in Dumfries and Galloway. The monument is a commemoration to Samuel Rutherford, who was a local theologian in the 17th-century.

Anwoth Old Church is a ruined church building which was built in 1626. A number of substantial monuments exist within the church and its surrounding churchyard. The churchyard was used as a shooting location for the 1973 cult horror classic "The Wicker Man".
