Part of NCN Route 7, Cally Avenue is a lovely smooth scenic section of cycling through the grounds of a golf course and hotel. It takes you north from the A75 directly into Gatehouse of Fleet.

Beautiful Mill on the Fleet is a restored 18th-century cotton mill. The mill has been transformed into a large exhibition centre open to the public and has a brilliant cafe on site with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating next to the river.

Scenic well surfaced gravel track running through Crow Hill plantation. A great way to avoid the A75.

Great views along this section of quiet lane. Road bike was fine on this although a little gravelly in places.

Wonderful gravel track that runs alongside Carrick Bay. Hard packed and rideable surface with great views across the water to Wigtown.
