There are many possible activities in Bundgårdsparken, a city park in the eastern part of Aalborg: you can jog, play disc golf or simply enjoy the beautiful nature.

A special feature of the church are the three checkerboard stones: the first stone is located in the south-east corner of the choir (difficult to see); the second stone is in the first row on the south wall; the third stone is also installed on the south wall

The church was built in the second half of the 12th century. It consists of a nave, choir and apse, as well as a western vestibule (with thicker walls than the rest of the church) in Romanesque style. On the north side there is a porch and the sacristy. Like the tower, they date from around 1500. The sacristy was rebuilt in 1777 and used as a burial place for the Benzon family. There are a south and a north portal, both with freestanding columns and tympanum. The south door is bricked up, the north portal is inside the porch.

The tour goes around the clock, driving directly into the forest, following signs.
