Lindenborg Å is a 47 km long river in East Himmerland. It originates from the same spring that is also the source of Simested Å. During its run, the Lindenborg Å crosses many former swamplands and lakes.

Gistrup is a tiny village close to Aalborg, with around 3,694 inhabitants. Most people who live here prefer a quieter, more laid-back type of life, immersed in the nature but also close to a bigger city.

What a beautiful sight in the morning light

Great place to stay overnight in the middle of the village of Dall. There is a large hut with seating, a barbecue and sleeping facilities, as well as two shelters outside, a dry toilet and a water tap on the opposite side of the lake. The place was built by the villagers themselves. You can't thank the people of Dall enough!

In Kildeparken you can make the trees sing: De syngende træer is basically an oversized jukebox in the middle of nature. It all started in 1987 when Cliff Richards planted a tree here for his concert. Little by little, dozens of artists have planted trees here, each equipped with a small loudspeaker and a play button. At the touch of a button you can make the Backstreet Boys, Stevie Wonder, Beyoncé, Take That, Elton John and even Hansi Hinterseer and Helene Fischer, among others, sing.
