Here you can relax and let your legs dangle. It is one of the two tree benches in the Fleyer Forest. The second can be reached by following the wide main path at the motorway junction for 800 meters.

With the current 30° it's a nice opportunity to keep your feet or more in the water.

The Lenne was renatured at this point in 2021-2022. I was skeptical, I thought what's the point of digging with heavy equipment. I must say an enrichment for humans and animals. I was here early in the morning, the sun rose, the fog disappeared. Cormorant, ducks, gray herons, even gulls, yes and dogs and their companions too. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves!

From Hohenlimburg it goes through the Lennewiesen to the weir just before Herdecke.

The path is currently still officially closed and can only be driven on with the appropriate tires.
