Beautiful forest path, ideal for cyclists who want to cycle between Langenfeld-Reusrath and Solingen-Wiescheid or vice versa away from the traffic.

In summer, this is the driest part of the Heidetrasse, situated between the Ohligser Heide and the Further Moor.

interesting region for observation

The Further Moor covers around 40 hectares and, as a landscape protection area, cannot be entered. It is not accessible by paths, but can be circled. 12 hectares of forest are currently being cleared. The birches gradually dry out the moor and this should be rewetted. The renaturation is funded by the EU and the state.
