On the Schaidter Westwallweg you can find dwarves from time to time

Unfortunately, the path on the German side is not worthy of being a cycle path.

The peace of the forest, the birds and the insects, the reflections of the trees in the water look like living watercolors. Stopping and enjoying is a must for lovers of nature. You have to enjoy a gift like this, it has a lasting effect. I call it FOREST BATHING. Anyone who has the patience to watch a dancing dragonfly has won.

Located right on the side of the road. You can walk around the complex and behind it there is a stream where you can cool off.

Shortly after the Bienwald Mill on the left side there is a small single trail through the middle of the forest. It is a little overgrown but rideable. It was definitely fun 😊

This little dwarf with a spade is one of the 7 dwarves that were hidden on the "Schaidter Westwallweg" especially for children. There is also a knowledge quiz. Because why shouldn't we also have fun walking this Westwallweg with its many warlike relics as a kind of "peace path" - in gratitude and joy that there is no more shooting here!

There are 2 of the one-man bunkers here, which are only separated by about 50 m. At the 2nd bunker (counterclockwise according to the direction of the "Schaidter Westwallweg"; i.e. further to the west) there is a large information board and a dummy soldier's head at the opening of the one-man bunker.
