Chief Forester Oswald May from Minkewitz had these idyllic hiking trails with two viewpoints created in a forest park-like setting. From the first rocky outcrop, the Maylust, you can look directly into the courtyard of Buch Monastery. From the Wettinstein, you have a picturesque view of Leisnig Castle. These views couldn't be more romantic. It was not for nothing that Chief Forester May was honored with a high order by King John. He also received honorary citizenship of the town of Leisnig.

Strange that cars are parked on the side of the road here and their drivers and passengers are queuing with canisters and empty water tanks. During the week or in the morning but maybe also to be used by the hiker without a long break in the hike.
