Christian-Daniel-Rauch-Platz is located in the residential area at the intersection of Elisabethstraße and Carlstraße. The square was originally called Elisabethplatz. Later, it was named after the 19th-century sculptor Christian Daniel Rauch, who worked in Neustrelitz. He is known for his neoclassical works. The square was redesigned from 2004 to 2005. The sculptural group "Faith, Love, and Hope" was created in bronze for the central island by the sculptor couple Dorothea and Uwe Maroske. Thematically, they are linked to a group of boy figures created by Christian Daniel Rauch. This pool is definitely recommended on hot days. We rented a lounger for a small fee and sat in the shade. While swimming in the lake, we had a beautiful view of the buildings at the other end. The water was very clear.

It's fun to watch the boats dock and unload while enjoying a piece of cake or an ice cream in the café.

The harbor is a great place to spend time. Food, drinks, gallery. Good starting point, for example, for a walk around Lake Zierker.

In the square in front of the station, there are numerous colorful wooden figures depicting different travelers. They're quite funny and entertaining ☺️

The water tower was built in 1901 and has served as a residential and office space since 2001. It is a lovely highlight when walking around Lake Glambeck, as it can be seen from many spots.
