A beautiful, modern pedestrian bridge with an integrated viewing platform—also known as the XXL footbridge. The elegant wooden structure spans the water and offers unobstructed views of the lake, Hohensyburg Castle, and the wooded slopes of the Ruhr River.

The Hohensyburg Castle ruins (Dortmund), with their Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial, are absolutely worth a visit, and offer a magnificent view of the Ruhr Valley and the beginning of the Sauerland region! The Dortmund Casino is also located there, with a rather interesting building! Below Hohensyburg, there's a great cycling and hiking trail, always along the Ruhr! For multi-day trips, you can easily stay overnight at the Hohensyburg campsite, even for just one night, with a tent, or in a camping barrel (2-4 people), or a trailer (including a kitchen, dishes, private toilet, and seating, both inside and out, for 2 people!)!
