Østre Søbad at Almindsø near Silkeborg is one of Denmark's cleanest lakes. Here are two round, impressive bathing jetties right next to each other with a children's pool and facilities such as changing rooms, lovely benches, toilets and a sauna.

A beautiful hiking trail takes you through a beautiful beech forest. The forest area is also called Knagerne and is around 235 years old. The forest has been a nature reserve since 1952 and therefore offers you an original hiking experience.

The newly renovated Østre Søbad is beautifully located by Almindsø in Silkeborg. In addition to the lake bath, you will find, among other things, a mobile sales van with light snacks, a sauna, changing facilities and a popular sandy beach.

At 123 meters, Frederik 7.'s Høj is the highest point in the Silkeborg forests. From the top you have a fantastic view of Funder ådal, and there are no trees to spoil the view.

Always a wonderful place, all year round. There are always people swimming, walking around the lake or doing other activities.

I haven't seen anything like that in Germany. Bathing lake area with changing rooms, showers, sauna and a jetty in the lake to dive into. And everything in first-class quality.
