A beautiful forest path around the lake. A certain degree of surefootedness is required, as the path is crisscrossed by tree roots. All the wooden walkways are covered with netting to prevent slipping in wet conditions! 👍

STIFINDER STI must have stumbled in the forest and was just able to hold on to the trees before he slipped into the lake. The path to the troll runs right along the water, with soft forest floor underfoot. Because there is a small stream at one point, wooden walkways have been built and covered with nets to prevent slipping. From the car park, going to the right takes between 10 and 15 minutes, going to the left is probably about twice as long (or even longer). In summer, I could also imagine swimming across the lake, the troll can be seen from the car park - so you can't miss it.

Even the door is screwed shut

The nature center with information about the waterways, flora and fauna is open daily. The local museum is only open on Sundays and public holidays.

From an elevated wooden deck you have a great view over Skjern Å. Opposite there is a shelter area where you can have a good rest. Possibly also with a roof.

Open on Sunday afternoons. The propeller of a British fighter-bomber that crashed here in 1944 is on display in front of the museum.
