The thermal baths are easy to get to and we always feel very comfortable here. With the day pass we always get the combination ticket with breakfast, which is very good and plentiful. The complex is very well maintained and the staff very friendly. The relaxation area on the upper floor is also highly recommended with the additional amenities such as a bathrobe, double relaxation lounger and food. The Zicksee is a small steppe lake in the Seewinkel. The muddy bottom of the lake contains a lot of sulphur, Glauber's salt and soda, called "Zick" by the local people. Hence the name of the lake. Due to its shallow depth, the Zicksee has a relatively high water temperature (spring and autumn around 15 °C, in summer mostly well over 20 °C). The Zicksee is a windsurfing area, there is a surfboard rental right on the lake. Due to its shallow depth, it is a standing area and well suited for beginners, water start students and speed surfers.
