The valley lies within the municipalities of Affalterbach and Burgstetten in Baden-Württemberg. - This section of the trail leads from Steinächle, primarily along meadow and gravel paths, to Wolfsölden. Both villages belong to the municipality of Affalterbach. - The Buchenbach stream accompanies us along the way. - Beautiful valley. - Very busy in good weather and on Sundays or during school holidays. - https://www.affalterbach.de/freizeit-uebernachtung/natur-und-kulturlandschaft

A beautiful wooden bridge on a flat section of the Wüstenbach stream. Right next door is a larger hiker's crossroads with hiking trails in four directions.

The path is currently closed at this point. Please observe the barriers! A small (but safe) detour via the Götzrnbach bridge is necessary.
