A small village, now with a handful of inhabitants, which before the Spanish Flu epidemic (1918/1920) had a population of over 150. According to annals and ancient maps, it was already mentioned around the 10th/11th century, including the small, gabled parish church dedicated to Saint Peter (Vatican Museum Maps). It was essentially Endine's first urban settlement, located at an altitude of 550 meters, to escape malaria in the then-marshy areas around the lake. It also served as a refuge for armies and marauders passing through the valley.

Valle del Freddo is a nature reserve located in the Alto Sebino area, in the province of Bergamo, in the outer belt of the Orobie Alps. This protected area is famous for a unique geomorphological phenomenon: the emission of cold air from underground, which creates a particular microclimate and affects the local flora. The reserve extends over approximately 70 hectares and is home to a variety of habitats, including precious alpine species, open grasslands and rocky substrates. The discovery of the scientific value of the valley dates back to 1939, when the botanist Guido Isnenghi noticed the unusual presence of botanical species typical of high-altitude environments at just 350 meters above sea level. Valle del Freddo has been the object of study and protection over the years. In 1983 it was established as an Oriented Nature Reserve to preserve its microclimatic phenomenon and regulate the use of the territory. Since 1995, the valley has been part of the Natura 2000 network and has been designated a Site of Community Importance (SCI). If you wish to visit the reserve, visits are free and only permitted on foot, accompanied by authorized personnel. The reserve offers a unique experience for nature and botany lovers, with trails that allow you to explore this fascinating ecosystem.

The Valle del Freddo regional forest, located in the Cavallina valley, is a naturalistic jewel that hosts a rare microclimatic phenomenon. Despite the altitude of only 360 metres, this small area is a sanctuary for over 30 alpine plant species, thanks to the freezing air emitted from the "chill holes". A one-of-a-kind natural oasis, beautiful to walk through.

The land for the construction of the church was donated to the parish by the Ziboni brothers. Construction began immediately and ended in 1901, as attested by the payment certificates. It was solemnly inaugurated on May 8, 1902 In the year 1932, repair and reconstruction works were carried out, as we read inside above the entrance door: "The piety and generosity of Maria Martinoni of the noble De 'Calepio family repaired this small sanctuary in the year 1932 In 1937 a fire, which developed from candles and candles remained lit, threatened to destroy the small church, saved in time with minor damage.

Located in the center of the town, the parish church is oriented according to the traditional liturgical criterion and has a large square on the north side. The façade, located to the west and preceded by a small portion of the churchyard, is divided into three sectors by four masonry pilaster strips resting on high bases. The larger central sector houses the sandstone entrance portal surmounted by a broken gable and a semicircular window in the centre. The two lateral sectors have niches containing the statues of S. Rocco and S. Remigio. Internally the church has a nave divided into six bays of different widths. The first section of the nave, upon entering, has two open arched chapels on the sides; the first on the left is occupied by the baptismal font while the one on the right houses the statue of St. George on Horseback. The second chapel on the left is occupied by a confessional while the one on the right, dedicated to St. Joseph, is equipped with a carved, painted and gilded wooden altar. This is followed by the wider central section, covered by an elliptical cup, with three spans. The presbytery, raised by three steps, has a rectangular plan, covered by a barrel vault and is completed in the choir with a semicircular plan, concluded by the apse basin connecting the vault. The severe bell tower is made of Gaiano stone.

The small church of Fanovo, dedicated to S. Pietro, was, with that of S. Rocco in Pura, built in its first structure around 1.100, as evidenced on the ancient maps of the Vatican Museums. Fanovo, therefore, was the first real settlement of the current municipality of Endine Gaiano, located on a small plateau at the foot of Mount Grioni; even if today it has reduced to just over a dozen inhabitants. It can be reached along the steep asphalted road which in just over a km leads from the town to the hamlet, and is located at the very beginning of the small village.
