The Hundiaed ja hundiauk is a fascinating stop on your hike that gives you an insight into a long-gone way of catching wolves. The old wolf fence and wolf pit tell a story from a time when wolves were still an everyday threat. The rustic signage in the forest tells you how these traps worked and what they say about life and dealing with predators back then. As you walk through the shady forest, surrounded by dense greenery, you will be captivated by the natural tranquility and historic atmosphere. The place has something primal, almost archaic, and makes you think about how the relationship between man and nature has changed over the centuries. The authentic design and the feeling of stumbling upon something past in the middle of the forest give the hike a special touch. Out here, you should be able to find your way on narrow paths and wear appropriate outdoor clothing - especially in wet weather. Keep your eyes open, because the surrounding area is not only historically interesting, but also scenically attractive.

The Penijõe birdwatching tower offers a wonderful view over the vast meadows and wetlands of Matsalu National Park. As you climb the wooden tower, you can feel the sounds of nature becoming more intense - the chirping of birds and the gentle rustling of leaves accompany you all the way to the top. From the platform, a sweeping view opens up, giving you the feeling of standing in the middle of an endless landscape. This place is a paradise for birdwatchers, especially in spring and autumn, when migratory birds pass through the region. Not only can you spot different species here, but you can also enjoy the peace and quiet that this place exudes. The tower itself is in good condition, but the climb is a bit steep - so good shoes don't hurt. There are also a few simple rest areas nearby with covered seating, which are ideal for a short break to take in the nature.

The sand under your feet, the vastness of the horizon and the gentle sound of the waves accompany you every step of the way. On windless days, the sky is reflected in the calm water and it feels like you are walking along the edge of the world. A wooden path leads you through a sparse pine forest, where the play of light and shadow creates a special atmosphere. Nature is pristine here and away from the big beaches you can enjoy the silence. It is worth paying attention to the small details - whether it is the soft moss on the ground or the old, gnarled trees covered in lichen. However, the path is not always easy to find and in some places the sand can be deep. A little surefootedness and a sense of direction are helpful here, but that is exactly what makes the place so attractive.

The lake is hidden in the Nõva Landscape Conservation Area and exudes a tranquility all of its own. The water is clear and the dense trees on the shore cast interesting shadow patterns on the surface. It almost feels like you are entering a place where time stands still. A small highlight is the old paved path that once led to a secret radio station of the Russian fleet. Today it is still easy to recognize and blends charmingly into the surroundings. The RMK's rustic fire pits on the shore invite you to linger while the scent of pine wood fills the air. You can also stay overnight here.

The small lake even has a bathing jetty with stairs; however, it can only be reached on foot or by bike.
