In the landscaped recreation area, in which the Panga cliff is embedded, you can enjoy the sunset, have a picnic and barbecue, watch birds, take beautiful nature photos and swing on a typical Estonian village swing. There is also a stone sundial here, always be careful, the abyss is dangerous.

Unfortunately, the swing wasn't there. I think it will be taken down in the winter.

The Panga cliff is the highest subterranean outcrop in western Estonia and on the islands. The Silurian cliff is a large terrace that begins on the island of Gotland in Sweden, runs through the Baltic Sea and reaches the surface on the west coast of the island of Saaremaa. The maximum height of the cliff is 21.3 m, and the length is about 2.5 km. The Panga cliff rises up as a limestone wall directly on the beach. At the highest point there is an archaic cult site; in ancient times, sacrifices were made to the sea here.

Just sit down and enjoy the sound of the sea. It is a very idyllic place and the cliffs are beautiful to look at, but please keep an eye on yourself and your children as there are no barriers anywhere.

Great park with a music stage and two beautiful old hotels. Several wooden bridges lead to the castle. The park also has a windmill around the castle and you can walk around the fortifications for free.

Great old wooden houses. The Baltic flair and charm is omnipresent.

Great hotel built in Art Nouveau style right next to the Arensburg. The facade is impressively beautiful and the building offers a great contrast to the castle. A real eye-catcher when you cross the wooden bridge.
