The small armhole is part of the geological natural monument "armholes". The Great Armhole is about 10m away in a northeasterly direction. The "armholes" are two only intermittently pouring springs. The name "armholes" surely comes from "holes poor in water". Sometimes one speaks of sources of hunger in such phenomena. In periods of low rainfall, the two armholes are dry. When the snow melts and after heavy rainfall, water escapes from the shell limestone. However, the bulk quantity of the small armhole is significantly lower than that of the large armhole. In a rainy spring, the Great Armhole also overflows. Then a shallow stream is fed from the armhole, which can be so wide that you actually need the existing footbridge to cross it. It's hard to believe in dry seasons.
