On the Luther Trail, on the way from Leuchtenburg Castle to Jena. You almost inevitably pass by. Small climbing rock. Not far from a parking lot for people arriving by diesel-powered carriage. Good view of Leuchtenburg Castle and Maua. It's okay.

A beautiful vantage point and resting place to linger. You have a great view over the Saale valley to the Leuchtenburg. A trip here is highly recommended. Below the Rothenstein bastion are the rock caves with a place to rest. You should definitely check it out, very interesting.
