Laid out around 100 years ago, this avenue of chestnut trees is now one of the most beautiful avenues in Eichsfeld: it connects the Stadionsweg and the Westerwald and leads to the beautiful Küllstedter Grund. Unfortunately, the chestnut trees are attacked by the leaf miner, as is the case throughout Europe. The leaves change color as early as August: the tree and the fruit are not significantly damaged by the activity of the pest.
