A great path along the Haaren, very natural with fields, meadows and water.

A very beautiful circular trail of just over 11 km. I highly recommend it and will definitely hike it again sometime.

As I wrote, the forest paths are very beautiful. I wasn't expecting this and was pleasantly surprised.🥾🌳👍

@Christ, really? My 5-year-old daughter skied there without any problems, what's the problem, why shouldn't it be allowed? At the end there are 2 great runs!!!

When visibility is good, you have a wonderful view to the north of the surrounding area, some 20 m below.

Hümmling paths: Loruper Kateekerpatt This tranquil route leads through the forests of Lorup over old dunes and sandy paths. A forest sports path invites you to join in and there are many exciting things to discover to the right and left of the path. “Squirrel path” means Kateeker Patt translated: A squirrel used to be able to circle around Lorup without touching the ground, just jumping from branch to branch or tree to tree. In the gnarled pine forests, the call of the rare ravens also resounds like a fairytale. In addition to numerous nature observations that await the attentive hiker, this 11-kilometer route also offers one of the steepest climbs of the Hümmling paths.
