A beautiful wooden observation tower next to the moor. The view from the top is lovely, and the tower is always open to visitors (it's not locked). With binoculars, you can see quite far.

The Oppenweher Moor, also known as the Stemmer Moor, is a raised bog in the Diepholz Moorland natural region. It covers a total area of approximately 870 hectares [3] and lies in Lower Saxony and the northeastern part of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is one of the most significant bog formations in Northwest Germany and is considered one of the ten most important wetland conservation areas in North Rhine-Westphalia.
