The Anklamer Stadtbruch is a fabulous nature reserve. It's great that you can do it. Coming from Bugewitz, it's a long walk towards it. Beautiful view

There are generally few opportunities to take a break here. Everything is also rather wet. This hut is in good shape (as of 03/24) and is therefore well suited.

Beautiful landscape on both sides. However, very different. On the one hand the wild Anklamer Stadtbruch, on the other side cultivated meadows. You can see far. Unbeatable in winter with bright skies and sunshine

Naturally beautiful nature. There is also a rest bench a little further. I was here after a period of heavy rain and had serious problems with high standing water. If you are not so well equipped here, it is best to come from Bugewitz, walk to Knechtort and from here make a loop towards the water. The paths from Bugewitz to here are safe. If you continue walking, you need waterproof shoes or a towel.

I hadn't seen any cormorants in March, but I had seen sea eagles. Great nature, definitely recommended

The path runs along the embankment, you walk on grass and have a constant view of the Anklamer Stadtbruch. The eagles circle high in the sky.

You can take a leisurely walk in the Anklam city forest. The trees are very young in places, but the paths are mostly easy to walk on, there are numerous benches and rubbish bins. There is a large sports field to the east.

The building was built in 1894 as a district court, today houses the Anklam police department and is a listed building.

The Catholic Church of St. Salvator was built in the neo-Romanesque style in 1900/01 for the Polish and Silesian seasonal workers who worked in the fields around Anklam. The church was built on a silted branch of the Peene, which would have required a complex pile foundation for a tower. Instead she got a roof turret.

The Lilienthal Museum in Anklam is a worthwhile excursion destination not only for aviation enthusiasts and those interested in history. The bright room with all the old aircraft appears almost unique. There are stations for children to test physical principles.
