The view from a bench onto the monastery pond is immediately relaxing.

At the edge of the monastery grounds lies the Protestant Church of the Holy Cross. The church is small compared to the monastery, but it's also beautiful. It's definitely worth a look inside.

Excellent regional and seasonal cuisine. You can also stay overnight here. The service is excellent and the view is magnificent.

The Baroque garden is beautiful and offers many different areas. Standing on the hill approaching the monastery, you not only have a view of the fountain, but also of the surrounding countryside. Water runs through the entire garden. A vegetable garden is interwoven throughout, as are hidden corners, such as the pergola with a view of the monastery.

This area appears to be off-limits to sheep. Flooding could occur at any time.

The monastery's baroque garden is worth seeing: soaring terraces overlooking the church square – adorned with orange trees in summer; a shimmering pond; leaf-covered arbors; a vegetable, herb, and fruit garden – perhaps used by the monks themselves; rare carnations from around the world; an orangery that welcomes café guests in the summer and cares for the orange trees during the colder months; and many resting places to admire and enjoy. ! Please park bicycles at the south gate!
