The village church was rebuilt around 1882, using building materials from the old fieldstone structure dating back to the 13th century. The original part of this fieldstone church includes the preserved east gable with its lancet windows and the nine fitted checkerboard stones. The relatively high number of these ornamental stones used is unique in Germany.

To your west lies the 67-hectare protected forest "Schwarzheide." It preserves a characteristic section of the forest landscapes of East Brandenburg and allows them to develop naturally from the banks of the Spree River to the terminal moraine. Furthermore, it protects the functioning of the natural environment and provides valuable habitat for rare plants and animals. At the same time, this natural forest serves as an important site for long-term research, environmental monitoring, and the practical application of knowledge for both teaching and practical application.

Right next to the bridge, where the village quietly hides behind old trees, there's a small rest area for water hikers – simple, honest, just right. Two covered picnic tables invite you to take a breather, have a snack, and tell stories. A simple spot, perfect for a night under the stars – free of charge and with the invitation to stay only for what you need: a night, a bit of wind, a starry sky perhaps. There's a portable toilet, no drinking water – but don't worry: right next door, in Mr. Hartmann's small café, you can refill your water bottles. And if you're smart, you'll treat yourself to an ice cream or an ice-cold drink – here, in the shade of the village, it tastes like a little vacation. Neubrück isn't a place for great expectations, but it is one for small miracles. The water flows gently, evening slowly approaches, and if you're lucky, ducks, geese, or other animals stroll along, as if they know someone just wants to be here. A place to return to—or to move on, with a light heart.

Alwine is a small country house with many possibilities. Located directly on the Spree River, it's a romantic hideaway for those tired of the big city, a base camp for active vacationers, and a stopover for hikers, cyclists, or canoeists. A café, a small, cozy wellness area, and a garden pool await you. And plenty of nature all around. Anyone who just stops by for coffee and cake is warmly welcome.
