Enchanted Forest

Was a very popular bathing lake in the 90s. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, it was left to nature. Thanks to the hardworking Marxdorf residents, it was revived as a bathing lake. Fortunately, today it has fewer bathing tourists than it did back then.

There are a lot of trees lying across the path here. It is extremely difficult to continue hiking here.

The Halbesee is the second lake in the chain of lakes of the Platkow mill stream and is located south of Diedersdorf. In principle, the lake can be completely circumnavigated, but the northern part of the circular route is in a protected and spawning area. Outside of the breeding and spawning season it should be possible to walk here and anglers can also be seen here regularly.

This small bathing area with a bench and a wonderful view of the lake is located directly at the southern tip next to the tributary of the Platkower Mühlenfiß in the Halbesee.

This is the former station building of the Diedersdorf small station of the former Oderbruchbahn. The grounds are now private but the building is beautifully preserved and restored.

The castle is privately owned. Visits to the castle itself are only possible by prior arrangement.
