The view from the tower is worth it! The picnic area is great, as the tables and benches are made of bricks, it is a good idea to bring some seating mats.

The path to the lookout point is particularly beautiful. The view is limited by the tall trees, but in the open area it extends to the Calauer church tower and further. A very nice, quiet place to linger.

The view from this place in winter is something very special. Snow-covered trees leaning slightly under the weight of white and a landscape covered in deep snow stretches to the horizon. The contrast between the dark trunks and the blanket of snow gives the scene something calm and timeless. It practically invites you to sit down on the bench and enjoy the winter silence. In summer it looks very different here, but even then this place is worth a visit. The view stretches far across the forests and the bench invites you to take a short break and let your gaze wander over the green sea of treetops even in the warmer months. This place offers its own atmosphere in every season - be it the cool, clear calm of winter or the lively freshness of spring and summer.
