The Tramper Castle Park is part of the entire ensemble of the former estate, which consisted of the manor house, the manor farm and the estate park. In the 18th century, the associated garden was a regular geometrically designed complex, the main axis of which led from the manor house to the zoo to the west. In the first third of the 19th century, the landscaped estate park was created with the redesign of the old garden and the redesign of a much larger area, and the basic features of the park have been preserved to a large extent to the present day. The authorship of the design of the Tramper Landscape Park is not documented. In 1990, work began to restore the park, which had become overgrown in parts. The aim was to restore it to its appearance around 1945. Cooperation with the authorities responsible for monument protection and nature conservation was of great importance in this process. The park in Trampe is a protected garden monument under the Brandenburg Monument Protection Act and also contains an architectural and archaeological monument, the ruins of the former Breydin Castle.

In terms of development history, the Tramper Park is an inseparable part of the former estate complex, which formed a unit consisting of the estate house, estate farm and estate park. The estate in Trampe was in the hands of the von Sparr family from 1412 to 1771, followed by Friedrich Wilhelm von Wartenberg as owner of the Trampe manor and from 1802 until the land reform in 1945 by the von derschulenburg family. more information: burg-breydin.de/Schlosspark/park_gestern.htm

The nave of the stone church was built in the 13th century, rebuilt in 1768/70 and covered with a hipped roof. In 1888/89, the square, three-story, neo-Romanesque church tower made of brick was added to the west, which is covered with an eight-sided slate-covered bent helmet. In the interior of the nave, which is covered by a plastered ceiling, galleries were built on three sides in 1768. The organ was built in 1969 in the Eberswalde organ building workshop.

The hereditary burial of the Schulenburg family is in the cemetery in Trampe, directly on the south side of the village church. This branch of the von der Schulenburg family lived in Trampe Castle (manor house) from 1802 until the land reform in 1945. The commemorative plaque identifies family members from the beginning of the 19th century. The burial place of Bernhard and Hedwig von der Schulenburg, on the other hand, is on the hill of the Breydin castle ruins near Trampe, although the Schulenburgs never had anything to do with Breydin Castle. No idea why 🤔?
